Brittany Clark has extensive experience representing clients during all phases of litigation, spanning from the initiation of a case through trial, judgment, and appeal. She has litigated numerous consumer protection putative class actions, and has briefed, argued, and prevailed on many TCPA issues. She has successfully certified TCPA class action lawsuits and has led a case to resolution on a class-wide basis after certification.

The majority of her practice is in federal courts across the country, where she is a skilled and experienced litigator. Before joining the firm, she served as law clerk to the Honorable Dennis W. Shedd of the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and to the Honorable Terry L. Wooten of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. Those clerkships gave her a unique perspective on practicing effectively in federal court. Throughout her career, Brittany has also successfully represented clients in arbitration, mediation, and administrative proceedings, and has developed a keen understanding of the unique and particular issues that arise in the telecommunications area. With more than ten years of experience, she is able to litigate strategically and effectively to obtain the best outcome for her clients. Some examples of these cases include:

Brittany is a graduate of the University of Florida and University of South Carolina Law School. Her bar admissions is in South Carolina, District of Columbia. She admitted to practice in the United States District Court, District of South Carolina; United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit; and United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Among other accolades, Brittany has been recognized in Best Lawyers, Ones to Watch and named as Legal Elite of South Carolina. She also serves as Treasurer and Council Member on the South Carolina Bar’s Trial and Appellate Advocacy division.

Brittany is an active member of her community. She is passionate about mentoring students in career development and young lawyers in the profession. She volunteers regularly with local schools and for years has served as a judge in local mock trial programs. She has also mentored and tutored first year law students through the University of South Carolina School of Law and the South Carolina Bar. In addition, she enjoys working with Meals on Wheels and other local organizations.
